This is the Barbican Estate in London. Designed by the architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon, this listed estate was built between 1965 and 1967 on land that had been devastated by the London blitz. I love it, especially the contrast of the architecture with the water gardens. This picture is of Defoe House, on the left, Shakespeare Tower and the Barbican Centre. I had fun taking polaroid snaps in the city and I was trying to get something of that effect here . . but with a splash of green because of the contrast with the garden.
