Jeanie is a Jazz singer, song-writer and performer. She was born and grew up in Beeston.
 
Jeanie is an accomplished musician having performed at the Jazz Cafe, The 606 club, Ronnie Scott’s and The National Theatre.  Jeanie was voted “Best Newcomer” at the Marlborough Jazz Festival in 2015.
 
Jeanie invited me to her house to take the reference photos and I was humbled to hear her sing as I took my reference photos.
 
I took great care painting the piano to make sure that it was an accurate representation of the keyboard, and, I hope, Jeanie is playing a recognisable chord too?
