Fundamentally, portrait painting is what I really love to do.

I like to paint people who I find interesting; this may be that they have an interesting face, story or something else that has me captivated.

If i'm not painting a comission, my current approach is to discover a muse and then paint several portraits of them to explore different poses and styles.​

Commisions vary in cost by size, so there is usually an affordable option.
