Brian has worked in the NHS for 40 years, and the last 18 years he has been working as a Respiratory Nurse Specialist. Brian saw the worst of the recent Covid pandemic. We owe Brian and his colleagues a huge debt of gratitude for what they did during the Covid pandemic.
 
I visited Brian in his home to take the reference photos for this portrait. I have pictured Brian with his two beloved Staffordshire bull terriers Poppy, aged 10 years and Gracie, aged 12 years, who didn’t  leave our sides during the time we were together.
